Welcome everyone to another episode of The Steve Austin Show. On today’s show, Ted Fowler returns to shoot the breeze and talk about what life has been like recently. Let’s get to the show.

Austin’s wife Kristen calls right as the show starts, so he answers and picks on her about how lucky she is to be on the podcast today.

Austin likes getting on the treadmill for about twenty minutes before he works out. He’s not lifting real heavy right now, but he’s been getting in some good workouts lately.

He goes on a rant this week about people with bad body odor at the gym. He does not appreciate people ruining his workout because they smell so bad.

They recently had a power outage at the broken skull ranch. They have 5 refrigerators, which means a lot of potential bad food. Ted let everything re-freeze once they got the power back on. It’s taken a lot of work to clean all of them out so they don’t stink.

Rats had chewed up the wires to the tractor they have, so it needed to be repaired. A repair man came and fixed it while Ted was asleep, so he didn’t even know they had come. When he went to use the tractor to mow, he found a live raccoon asleep in the engine. They say they have some raccoons on PED’s down on the ranch.

Ted gets a flat tire in Austin’s dad’s Bronco. He was lucky that the Bronco had a spare tire. He had a jack, but no lug wrench. He wishes it could’ve happened a little closer to the house because it was very hot outside. It was a good four mile trek from the house.

Ted has had a little cold lately. He took a bunch of medicine, but he couldn’t shake the cold. He felt like he had a respiratory issue. He went to a doctor’s office, but the doctor wasn’t there to see him. He then goes to the urgent care and finds out he has a respiratory virus. He got two shots, one in each butt cheek, and one of the shots burned bad. He was sweating really bad.

When he got to the register to pay the bill it turns out it was 563 dollars. He has insurance, but had just changed health insurance companies, so he didn’t have proof of insurance with him. He ended up signing up for some plan to lower the bill to a little less than 200 dollars.

Austin asked Ted if he should prepare to hear any wedding bells ringing soon. Ted laughed hard, because he apparently has no plans to get married anytime soon.
